Performing Arts

Each year, students take the stage in two major theater productionstwo choral/band concerts, and two orchestra concerts, bringing their talents to the MUS community. From a cappella groups and jazz ensembles to technical theater and stage management, our performing arts program fosters confidence and collaboration.

Visual Arts

Working in our creative spaces, boys learn to exercise their inventiveness. With opportunities in sculpting, painting, printmaking, photography, stringed-instrument construction, set design, and more, students gain firsthand experience in the artistic process, refining their skills and discovering new possibilities.

Recording Arts

For students interested in the intersection of music and technology, our recording arts program provides hands-on experience in composition, performance, and production. From jazz bands to digital mixing, students develop a deep understanding of both musical artistry and the technical aspects of sound design.

“It is art that makes life, makes interest, makes importance … and I know of no substitute whatever for the force and beauty of its process.”

- Henry James, 1915
